It’s time.
Barely 48 hours after Super Junior’s Eunhyuk left for the South Korean mandatory army training, fellow member Donghae is ready to go too. Prior to his enlistment, Donghae posted a few final Instagram updates as he prepares for his training.
He’s also celebrating his 28th birthday.
As seen in the post above, Donghae proudly showed off the presents received from his fans. In his caption, he said, “ELF!!! I am sorry for making you lonely for 1 years and 9 month. I believe enlisting on my birthday will have significant meaning. I will leave and return with a better image. I love you, ELF. Me and Eunhyuk will come back and meet you ^^ #DNE #MaSi.”
A night before Eunhyuk’s enlistment, a couple of SM Entertainment idols gathered for one last party to bid both Eunhyuk and Donghae farewell. Amongst the members present were Changmin (TVXQ), Leeteuk, Yesung, Donghae, Heechul, Kangin, Eunhyuk, Minho (SHINee), as well as EXO members Chanyeol and Suho.

Eunhyuk enlisted in the military on the 13th at the base in Chuncheon, Gangwon-do and will be undergoing 5 weeks of basic training before working under active duty. Donghae, on the other hand, will be enlisting as an active conscripted policeman.
