Hook up culture is no longer a strange phenomenon. Plenty of people do it, either to explore their likes and dislikes, to find someone new in their lives or just for some short-lived fun. However, this also leaves people with some strange and unfortunate stories.
This netizen recently shared how he found a hook up on a dating app. But, his experience took a turn for the worst when he discovered who his hook up actually was. Not only was she a 16-year-old, she apparently transmitted a STD (sexually transmitted disease) to him!
The netizen posted about his experience on Facebook group Tantan Confessions Malaysia recently. He’d apparently found a girl who claimed she was looking for a sexual partner. Coincidently, he had been looking for one too. The duo hooked up at the girl’s house, at her insistence. Apparently, her parents were usually out of the house and would only return late in the day.
He met her twice as she invited him for another round and he accepted. However, it was only during the second round that he asked her how old she was. He absolutely wasn’t prepared for the bombshells she dropped. The girl shared that she was only 16-years-old. That didn’t surprise him as he claimed he too had lost his virginity at that age. However, he was shocked to discover she already had nine sexual partners. And that also brought up his concern about STDs.
“16-years-old (and she) did it twenty times,” he wrote. “I went to (get myself) checked the next day and (I) really did get (an STD).” He lamented that he had never expected to get one and didn’t know what to do now. Other netizens weren’t sympathetic. Some claimed this was a “lesson”.
A few pointed out that the 16-year-old’s parents should have been more responsible. One comment even highlighted the punishment given to those who had sex with minors, that is twenty years in prison and ten lashes. The post has since been deleted as the netizen who wrote the post claims they didn’t mean to hurt anyone.
Well, we understand it may be difficult to fight carnal urges. But, it’s probably advisable to know your partner’s sexual history before diving in. Also, don’t forget to stay safe and use a condom to avoid most STDs!
