Another South Korean celebrity couple is tying the knot! A few months after going public with their relationship, actress Ji Ye Eun (지예은) and We Dem Boyz (위댐보이즈) leader Vata (바타) have announced their plans to get married by the end of the year.
Earlier today (Wednesday, 2nd September 2026), South Korean news outlets reported that Ji Ye Eun and Vata, whose real name is Kim Tae Hyun, are getting married on 12th December 2026 (Saturday), which is also Vata’s 32nd birthday. The wedding will reportedly take place at a venue in Seoul.

Both Ji Ye Eun and Vata’s agencies have responded to the reports, confirming the marriage news. The actress’s agency, CP Entertainment, said, “The two have promised to spend their lives together based on deep trust. We ask for your warm blessings and support for the couple as they stand at the threshold of a new beginning.”
Meanwhile, Vata’s agency, A-RA, said in its statement, “Vata has met a precious partner, and the two are beginning a new journey as a married couple. They have promised to become each other’s most reliable companions based on deep trust and love.” The statement continues, “We hope you will bless their future with warm hearts.”
Ji Ye Eun and Vata went public with the relationship in April 2026 after dating for a few months. The couple, both born in 1994, reportedly got close after meeting as entertainment industry colleagues. Since acknowledging their relationship, the two have publicly expressed their affection for each other on shows and social media.


Ji Ye Eun is best known for her work on “Saturday Night Live Korea” and “Running Man”, for which she has won several awards. Meanwhile, Vata has made a name for himself in the K-Pop world as the leader of the dance crew We Dem Boyz. Through his crew, he has also choreographed for singers and groups like Jennie (제니) and Stray Kids (스트레이 키즈).
