Falling in love may be the easiest thing in the world. Staying in love and maintaining that relationship sure is not. People usually break up for a variety of reasons. Sometimes, they just don’t see eye to eye, others may do so for more serious reasons. But YouTuber Soon Sun (孙生)’s alleged reason certainly left many bewildered!
Soon Sun and his girlfriend Wendy recently revealed that their relationship had come to an end. The news left many saddened and sympathetic. But, to everyone’s surprise, Soon Sun’s fellow YouTube group Wackyboys (反骨男孩) member insinuated that the break up may have been because Soon Sun couldn’t have sex with Wendy!
Soon Sun started dating Wendy, who is from a cheerleader group, in 2019. The duo had initially been very happy together. However, on 6th December, it was revealed that the couple had broken up. Soon Sun had initially attempted to break the news but ended up removing his earlier post. Fans and friends later discovered the news via Wendy when she uploaded a post on her socials about the breakup.
“Thank you so much for your devotion to me. You took me to travel to Singapore and many other places. It’s really rare!” Wendy wrote. She added that she appreciates her experiences with Soon Sun and has learned a lot from them. “You’re a great showman, but (you) still need to (learn more about love),” Wendy said, before reassuring fans that they were still friends.
Although neither one stated why they decided to break up, a few felt they knew the answer. Previously, another member of the Wackyboys, Linda, shared something surprising about Soon Sun. Linda had been chatting with Hero Tai and his girlfriend, Tatiana, in a video last month when she mentioned that Soon Sun had a different view on sex.
“Soon Sun really has no choice but to be intimate with his girlfriend,” Linda stated. “He thinks (sex) is punishment.” Linda also explained that as he viewed sex as a punishment, he would not want to ‘punish’ his girlfriend as he wants to take care of her. “So, he can’t be intimate with her,” Linda said. However, to Linda’s confusion, Soon Sun was supposedly fine with having sex with other women.
Well, we may never discover the real reason why Soon Sun and Wendy broke up. However, we do wish them well and hope their next relationship will be fulfilling for them too!
