Joel Fletcher makes his way to KL!
Born and raised in Melbourne, Australia – the prodigal son of Melbourne’s underground dance music has earned widespread praise and an impressive reputation for his work in the music industry as both a DJ and producer.
From starting to DJ at the age of 14, to achieving his first club residency by the age of 16 to being voted #3 in the inthemix Australia Top 50 awards in 2014, Joel’s rise to the top has been a fast and well deserved one.
Through his huge library of releases through labels including MinistryOfSound, Ones To Watch, the “Melbourne Bounce” superstar, had been hard at work to release some of his best tracks yet.
In 2014 alone, Joel released the triple platinum, chart topping record with Savage “Swing”, a tune that was added to the airwaves of every mega radio network around the country. “Swing” also won him a nomination for the 2014 ARIA’s “Song of the Year.”
In conjunction with the success of “Swing”, “Bring It Back”, a collaboration with fellow Melbourne Bounce hero, Will Sparks, reached double platinum sales in Australia while his original “Loco” with Seany B hit gold selling status and his latest hit “State Of Emergency” has received huge commercial radio success.
Despite his hectic touring schedule and studio time working with a range of internationally renowned artists, Joel has spent the most of the last twelve months touring North America, Canada, Asia and Europe – spreading his trademark sound across the globe.
