Can you believe it has been 30 years since Biduanita Negara Dato’ Sri Siti Nurhaliza made her debut? The icon rose to fame shortly after winning RTM’s Bintang HMI competition in 1995, and today she is regarded as one of Malaysia’s legendary performers, as well as the “Voice of Asia”.

The songstress has long expressed her wish to hold a 30th anniversary concert, and that day will soon arrive. Yesterday (Monday, 29th September), it was officially confirmed that Siti will stage the much-anticipated special concert early next year. Here are the details so far:

Since the weekend, Siti Nurhaliza has been teasing fans with hints of something special by posting a photo of the number 30 adorned with a crown, suggesting a celebration of her 30 years in the music industry. Last night, the icon officially announced that she will hold her 30th anniversary concert, titled “Legacy 30”, at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium next year.

Making the occasion even more special, the show will take place on the eve of her 47th birthday – two celebrations in one night. The concert will also mark the singer’s first performance at the iconic venue since 2004. While ticketing details have yet to be announced, the following has been confirmed so far:

For someone as iconic as Siti Nurhaliza, there is little doubt that the whole of Malaysia will be ready when ticket sales go live. Will she invite special guest performers to celebrate this milestone? We will know once more details are announced, but one thing is certain – her fans will be there to support her every step of the way.
