Expanding its industrial footprint across the Northern lang Valley, Sime Darby Property Berhad has launched Elmina Business Park 2 in January this year as part of its expansion into Rawang, following the success of Elmina Business Park. Comprising industrial lots and ready-built factories, its maiden launch of Phases 1A and 1B, offering a total of 19 freehold industrial land lots, has received a favourable response, with an estimated take-up of 70%.

Located just 2km north of Elmina Business Park, Elmina Business Park 2 spans across 600 acres with a total GDV of RM1.72 billion and consists of 72 units of semi-detached factories and industrial lots ranging from 2 to 4 acres, offering built-to-suit and built-to-lease options. The development benefits from direct access via the dedicated Lagong interchange from the Guthrie Corridor, providing strong connectivity to the North-South Expressway and LATAR, both located approximately 2km from the GCE exit. In addition, Elmina Business Park 2 also boasts multi-modal connectivity with Kuang KTM within 2km, two future ECRL stations – Serendah and Puncak Alam within a 20km drive, and Subang Airport within 25km.

“The intention of Elmina Business Park was to revolutionise industrial townships, and we continue to focus on creating a thriving ecosystem where businesses can grow and prosper,” said Sime Darby Property’s Chief Operating Officer – Township Development, Appollo Leong. “With Elmina Business Park 2 in Rawang, we are delivering the same world-class standards and freehold advantage in a strategically located, high-growth corridor. The limited units remaining present a timely opportunity for businesses to secure land in a development that supports long-term growth, operational efficiency and workforce wellbeing.”

Elmina Business Park is recognised as Klang Valley’s largest freehold industrial business park, masterplanned across 1,500 acres to integrate business functionality with sustainability-focused design. The park is equipped with comprehensive infrastructure and world-class facilities, including a proposed business support centre, staff accommodation facilities, commercial centres, and over 110 acres of parklands to promote employee rejuvenation and wellbeing.

Previous milestones of Elmina Business Park include the 100% take-up of The Signature Collection Twin Factories and being the first business park to house Google’s first hyperscale data centre, scheduled for completion in the second quarter of 2026. These achievements highlight the strong market demand and continued confidence from local and multinational businesses operating in the park.
