In collaboration with Zoo Negara Malaysia, Starbucks Malaysia released their new Happy Giraffe & Friends collection where they also announced that they have adopted a young male giraffe named Mas Boy.
The launch of the new merchandise and the adoption of the animal were also part of their Positive Planet initiative. Many people including some well-known Malaysian celebrities recently joined in on the celebration by visiting and taking photos with the adorable mammal at the zoo.
Singer Yazmin Aziz attended the launch ceremony with her professional basketball player boyfriend Austin Veloso and snapped a couple of adorable selfies together with Mas Boy in the background.
Another singer who attended the launch was singer Mia Lateefa, who posted some photos on her Instagram where happily posed with the tall mammal while holding one of the merchandise from the new collection in her hand.
Former Miss Universe Malaysia Shweta Sekhon also dropped by over the weekend to meet Starbucks’s adopted animal. The model and host posted a video on her Instagram where she was seen feeding the calf with leaves while being supervised by the zoo’s staff member.
