Shuib Sepahtu has finally spoken out about the speculations surrounding his special relationship with Dato’ Seri Vida. For those in the dark, the latter made a big splash recently after she named the local comedian as her ideal type.
Not long after the reports came to light, Shuib (full name Shahmira Muhamad) quickly stepped forward to set the record straight on the matter. The celeb, who is said to be currently meeting someone months after the passing of his wife Siti Sarah, clarified that he has no intention in dating the wealthy cosmetics entrepreneur.
Shuib, however, stated that he’s comfortable being friends with DS Vida since they’re in the food business together at the moment. “Vida is not the individual I am meeting with now. Although many are trying to take a guess by naming a few other female celebs, her identity should be kept secret because we are still in the early stage,” he spoke to Harian Metro.
“Actually, Vida and I have been friends for a long time, since the late Siti Sarah was still alive. Both Vida and I have been collaborating for our Unagi food product business. So, (I think) it’s unlikely for us to be in a relationship,” the 37-year-old further added during the chat.
He then told the publication, “After all, we’re not suited for each other because she has a large influence, and she also owns everything. Whereas, I’m looking for someone who is modest and able to take care of my small children as best as possible.”
“If it’s possible, I don’t want to talk much about this topic because it’s too sensitive. Only God knows who our eventual soulmate is. I can only plan with whom I want to be friends with, but I don’t know if she is a good match for me. Just in case one day I am open to getting married again, this woman needs to get the consent of my mother and children first,” Shuib was quoted as saying.
