New Balance Store Launch At The Exchange TRX
With the opening of its new store at The Exchange TRX, located on Level 2, New Balance unveils a fresh retail consumer experience designed to prioritise people, not products. Centred around communal seating arrangements, the store encourages customers to convene, draw inspiration from each other, and discover their authentic style.
The concept positions New Balance at the intersection of sport and culture, featuring an edited assortment of merchandise, as well as visual storytelling alongside select products to highlight the makers and origins behind them. With its thoughtfully-curated selection of footwear and apparel, both an elite athlete and a fashion influencer can each envision their next great moment, side by side.
“This store represents a big step forward in the way we think about our retail environment, featuring a much tighter, more focused collection built specifically for the younger consumer,” said Ian Fitzpatrick, Senior Director of Global Brand Strategy and Operations at New Balance. “The space is not built to tell all our stories, just those most relevant to our consumers – a shift that reflects our intention to invite new audiences to discover the brand, maybe for the first time.”

AirAsia Celebrates Visa-Free Travel From India
Following the Malaysian government’s recent announcement, Indian citizens are now able to travel to Malaysia visa-free. To support this initiative, from now until Christmas Eve of 2024, adventurers can book flights on AirAsia to seven destinations in South India at a special promotional price!
The massive airline is letting Malaysians travel to Chennai, Tiruchirappalli, Kochi, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Kolkata, and soon, Thiruvananthapuram for only RM189* all-in, one-way. So, if you’re looking to cross something off your bucket list in India, there’s no better time than now.

LEGO Santa’s Superpower Christmas Cove
Christmas is just around the corner, and we heard that Santa needed some little helpers! So, we volunteered – at LEGO Santa’s Superpower Christmas Cove! Held at Sunway Pyramid, the fun and colourful event encouraged kids and kids-at-heart to help Santa be on time this holiday season. We built hearts and sleighs, caught gifts, and delivered presents – and had a blast! Those who completed all stations were awarded a special edition LEGO Santa mini-figure, which honestly left all the adults jealous.
There was also a little display area featuring Santa’s special cape. Guests were encouraged to count properly or guesstimate how many were on display. Those who counted precisely were able to snag a limited-edition Christmas theme LEGO set. Here’s what went down:

Shell Malaysia Unveils Shell Café
We got to witness an exciting event at APW Bangsar recently, when Shell Malaysia proudly announced the official inauguration of Shell Café, an immersive aromatic journey for consumers! Shell Café serves a wide variety of food, from salted egg pasta and gourmet sausages, to convenience wraps – with meat-free options.
At the launch event, we were not only given more info about the grand launch, but were also treated to some fun games and activities! The event wouldn’t be complete without a special appearance by Shell Cafe’s official brand ambassador, influencer Ceddy Ang! If you haven’t visited a Shell Café, better drive to one now and experience it yourself!

Launch Of Elizabeth Arden Counter @ Seibu The Exchange TRX
Another week, another grand opening to celebrate at The Exchange TRX! This week, we were at the unveiling of the new Elizabeth Arden counter at Seibu Kuala Lumpur! The new counter – at the Ground Floor of Seibu – showcases everything Elizabeth Arden, from their new White Tea line to their iconic ceramide capsules.
At the opening ceremony, we also had the chance to customise a tea blend and make it all our own. Not only that – we also got some goodies from Elizabeth Arden, specially engraved just for us! Here’s what went down:

Sephora’s ‘Unwrap Their Beautiful Christmas’ Party
We had yet another Christmas celebration – this time, with Sephora! At the ‘Unwrap Their Beautiful’ Christmas Party, we checked out their first-ever 3D interactive showcase at Fahrenheit88. We got up close and personal with the installation in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, which included a whole AR game that everyone could participate in and win some goodies!
While it started to drizzle, it didn’t rain on our parade, because the party continued at Banyan Tree Kuala Lumpur. The Horizon Grill was completely decked out and filled with Christmas vibes. From then on, we partied the night away! It was a night of delicious food, great company and tons of cheers to 2023 and the new year! Watch all the fun below:

Shopee Super Awards 2023
Shopee Super Awards 2023 was recently held to honour and appreciate the greatest and brightest stars of Malaysia’s booming e-commerce landscape. Held at the Majestic Hotel in Kuala Lumpur, we got the chance to witness the awards ceremony with celebrities such as Dato’ Sri Siti Nurhaliza, Ceddy Ang and more in attendance. We were also treated to a praiseworthy performance by Dolla and Vanessa Reynaulds while the event was hosted by Naz Rahman and Julie Woon.
We also watched the groundbreaking documentary “Shopee Rai Lokal” premier, and met the three homegrown sellers featured in the film, Edward Wong of HomeDecoStore, Felica Tan of Mamami Shopee, and Mohd Zaid of Lampu Cherita. With their passion and love evident, it was clear to see why Shoppe had chosen them and their stories to continue inspiring others.
