Disney Channel fans, this one’s for you! Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato are bringing back some childhood memories as the two former Disney stars reunite for a special campaign with Gomez’s beauty band, Rare Beauty.
Titled “Still Making Each Other Blush,’ the campaign sees the childhood friends recreating memorable moments from their 2009 Disney Channel movie, Princess Protection Program, and their old Youtube videos.
In one of the campaign photos, the pair recreate the film’s iconic poster, wearing updated versions of the blue and yellow gowns worn by their characters, Carter Mason and Princess Rosalinda.

And the nostalgia doesn’t stop there! The duo also revisited their 2008 YouTube series, The Demi and Selena Show, where they answered questions, talked about childhood crushes and lip-synced to “One and the Same”, their duet from the movie.
A Friendship That Goes Way Back!
For those who grew up watching Disney Channel, Selena and Demi’s friendship is nothing new. The two first met as children on Barney & Friends before becoming Disney stars through Wizards of Waverly Place and Camp Rock.
Although their friendship has experienced some ups and downs over the years, the pair recently reunited publicly in April when Selena attended the opening night of Demi’s It’s Not That Deep tour in Orlando.
Speaking about their latest collaboration, Demi described the experience as a full-circle moment, saying that being on set together reminded her of their younger days making YouTube videos and playing with makeup.
Selena also reflected on their friendship, sharing, “One and the same…always.”
The reunion celebrates Rare Beauty’s limited-edition “Delena” Soft Pinch Liquid Blush Bundle, priced at US$50. The set features two existing blush shades (Hope & Virtue), alongside a blush brush, and is available exclusively through Rare Beauty’s website.
More than just a beauty campaign, the reunion is a sweet nostalgic throwback for fans who grew up watching Selena and Demi together. And seeing the two recreate their Disney days after all these years? That’s definitely a nostalgic moment.
