From Movement Control Order (MCO) to Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO)…

Senior Minister (Security Cluster) Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob has announced that Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, Johor and Penang will come under CMCO starting from this Friday onwards (5th March).

The latest CMCO for the aforementioned states will take place for 2 weeks, (tentatively) until 18th March. Kedah, Kelantan, Negeri Sembilan, Sarawak and Perak will remain under CMCO as well.

Here are a few additional things to take note:

  • Interdistrict travel will be allowed in all states (except Sabah).
  • Although travel between Selangor and KL is allowed, police permission is needed to enter Putrajaya except for workers with employers’ letters.
  • Interstate travel is not allowed.
  • Perlis is the only state under RMCO.

Updated SOPs to follow.
