Most would count themselves lucky to win the lottery at least once in their lives. Well, it certainly says a lot for this local man’s luck after he won it twice, twelve years apart!
The man, who is reportedly from Sekinchan, recently won RM600,000 from the Big Sweep (大彩) lottery draw on 11th February. As it turns out, this isn’t the first time he’s won the lottery. In fact, this is reportedly his second big win since 2012.
According to China Press, the man still remembers buying his first big lottery ticket in 2012. In addition to winning a prize, he also won smaller bonuses. The man opined it had been the lottery agent whom he had bought the ticket from, who had brought him luck.
He had continued buying lottery tickets from the same agent in Sekinchan every month for twelve years. Despite continuously trying his luck, he would often only hope to win a few thousand ringgit each time. As such, it came as a surprise when he won the second prize, RM600,000, from the Big Sweep (大彩) lottery draw.
The man was certainly delighted that his luck had finally turned after buying tickets continuously for several years. He also pledged to gift the lottery agent a fat ang pao as thanks. Additionally, he told China Press he would be continuing to buy lottery tickets and is looking forward to scoring another win in the future.
We’d wish the man luck in his endeavour but we’re not sure if he needs it. However, we hope he does manage to pull another big win again in the future!
