Last year, we couldn’t stop raving about this one attraction located at Puteri Harbour Family Theme Park so imagine our excitement when we were invited for an exclusive tour of the place.
Sanrio Hello Kitty Town in Malaysia is the first Sanrio Hello Kitty Town theme park outside of Japan. The theme park consists of various walk-through attractions, interactive activities, and rides which follow the Hello Kitty theme. If you think that it’s catered for only kids, well, think again. To some of us, it’s a childhood dream come true!
At Sanrio Hello Kitty Town, families with young children and adults who are kids at heart can experience its many charms such as its “Friendship Land” with its playground and have photo opportunities with Hello Kitty and friends. Children can also enjoy tea cup rides, as well as unforgettable birthday celebrations in one of the Sanrio-themed party rooms at the Strawberry and Apple Party Rooms.
Other key attractions at Sanrio Hello Kitty Town include “Black Wonder”, an interactive experience for both children and adults which utilizes technology such as sensors and computers to enhance the experience and devices for visitors to interact.
Also, visitors can create their very own Sanrio branded jewelry at the “Wishful Studio” while getting their nails done and being dolled up as the popular Sanrio characters.
Hungry? Thirsty? Then look forward to delectable Hello Kitty themed drinks and pastries from the “Red Bow Café” or the Cinnamoroll Café!
Oh, and we must add that our favourite part of Sanrio Hello Kitty Town was Hello Kitty’s house! It has a total of six sections:
- Living Room
- Kitchen
- Bathroom
- Kitty’s room
- Secret Closet
- Mimmy’s room

- RM50 for adults and children (with Malaysian ID)
The Sanrio Hello Kitty Town is open from 10am to 6pm (Monday to Sunday). Puteri Harbour Family Theme Park will be closed every Tuesday except for Malaysian and Singaporean public holidays/school holidays. To purchase tickets, click!
