Malaysian songbird Daiyan Trisha is lucky to be able to collaborate with popular American YouTuber Sam Tsui. The internet celebrity is known for his cover songs, original tunes, as well as some medleys and mashups.
In conjunction with the YouTuber’s upcoming visit to Malaysia on 23rd March alongside his fellow YouTuber friend and frequent collaborator Madilyn Bailey, Sam Tsui has uploaded a cover of “Rewrite the Stars” where he duet with Malaysian singer Daiyan Trisha.
“Rewrite the Stars” which is an original sound track from the hit musical “The Greatest Showman” was originally performed by actor-singers Zac Efron and Zendaya.
Daiyan Trisha recorded the song in Los Angeles, California during her visit there.
“Thank you, Sam for having me. You’re just amazing – it’s wild going from watching your covers in school to actually sing with you,” the 25-year-old wrote on her Instagram.
Many fans are praising the cover, asking the pair to do more covers together and requesting them to put the song on Spotify.
