Japanese band Ryokuoushoku Shakai’s latest song “Kaze Ni Noru” has been selected as the theme song for the theatrical anime “L’étoile de Paris en fleur”, scheduled for release in Japan on 13th March 2026. The track was written specifically for the film. Lyrics were penned by vocalist Haruko Nagaya, with composition and arrangement by the band’s bassist Shingo Anami.
Inspired by the film’s early 20th-century setting, the song blends classical live instruments with a band ensemble, layered with Nagaya’s vocals, combining transparency and strength. Among Ryokuoushoku Shakai’s songbook, this number stands out as one of their most evergreen works — imbued with the courage to open the door to a new era.

Among Ryokuoushoku Shakai’s songbook, this number stands out as one of their most evergreen works — imbued with the courage to open the door to a new era. “Although the era of the film is different from what we know, the story is filled with music, art and many artistic elements. We also have a band member with ballet experience, so there were many aspects we could deeply relate to. I was truly happy to receive this offer,” said vocalist Haruko Nagaya.
The singer added that she wanted this song to become a trigger for people to take a new step forward, and it was that feeling that led her to write “Kaze Ni Noru.” Directed by Gorō Taniguchi with character designs by Katsuya Kondō, the film tells the story of two young girls pursuing their dreams in early 20th-century Paris despite the challenges of living in a foreign land.

Ryokuoushoku Shakai was formed in 2012 by high-school classmates Nagaya (vocals), Kobayashi (guitar), peppe (keyboard), and then joined by Anami (bass), Kobayashi’s childhood friend. They have consistently released hit songs, including “Mela!” (2020), surpassing 400 million streams, “Be a flower” (2023), surpassing 200 million streams, and both “Character” (2022) and “Summer Time Cinderella” (2023), surpassing 100 million streams.
