Got the urge to go out and go wild, but need the right shoes that can keep up with you? We’ve got some dope suggestions for you.

From a special collaboration that created a unique pair of casual footwear, to a classic adventure sneaker making its glorious comeback, here are two kicks meant to explore the world.

White Mountaineering x Reebok Classic Leather

After their sophisticated version of the Club C 85 Vintage Slip-on in 2024, Reebok and White Mountaineering have partnered up again.

This time, the Japanese brand focuses on the Classic Leather model and departs from the minimalist sensibilities of their initial partnership to give the vintage model a softer, outdoor vibe.

Greyscale and light brown are the two neutral tonal colourways available for the new White Mountaineering x Reebok Classic Leather. A synthetic fabric printed with a gradient triangle pattern adds a bit of technicality to the design, while a foundation of hairy suede gives the shoe a warm, vintage feel that is highlighted by contrasting trims.

The White Mountaineering wordmark is displayed on the back heels, and a repeating W pattern is displayed through a tiny window close to the eyelets as a nod to the partnership.

The campaign’s calm environment reflects the brand’s thoughtful intentions with regard to their most recent collaboration with Reebok.

“Our brand is often associated with active scenes, but this time, we wanted to show how our collaboration shoes fit a more relaxed environment,”  said Yosuke Aizawa, founder of White Mountaineering. “The soft mood of the campaign perfectly complements the colour palette of the shoes.”

The White Mountaineering x Reebok Classic Leather retails for US$190 (~RM842) and will be available for purchase at the White Mountaineering and official Reebok webstores.

Brooks Adrenaline GTS 4

Brooks Running has been associated with performance for over a century. Their trainers have helped countless runners advance with technical accuracy on city sidewalks and marathon courses.

However, the brand is now going beyond the run and applying its knowledge to lifestyle footwear, a field where comfort, culture, and nostalgia all come together. By reviving heritage designs and adopting a storytelling-first approach, Brooks is consciously entering the space.

When it was first introduced in 2002, the Adrenaline GTS 4’s silhouette helped establish Brooks’ standing in the performance-running community by receiving praise for its fit, balance, and inventive ride.

The trainer is currently making a resurgence as a sophisticated, contemporary lifestyle essential rather than just a reissue.

The Adrenaline GTS 4 combines nostalgia for the early 2000s with everyday wearability thanks to its classic mesh, suede overlays, and pebbled synthetic upper. In order to maintain comfort, Brooks even rebuilt its renowned HydroFlow cushioning.

The outcome? A trainer that stays faithful to its running roots while transitioning effortlessly from morning commutes to coffee stops after a run.

Brooks is reaching a market that seeks both authenticity and adaptability in a time when street style is dominated by performance-driven sneakers. While rivals capitalise on hype cycles, Brooks is providing something more significant: shoes made for people who value the fusion of heritage and function.

This is an opportunity for devoted fans to wear Brooks past their expiration date. It is an invitation for newcomers to get a taste of a brand that has always prioritised movement.

New Balance's 204L Is One Shoe In The Past, One In The Future!

Building on a 110-year history, Brooks’ approach is refreshingly unprejudiced in the crowded lifestyle sneaker market.

The redesigned Adrenaline GTS 4 offers a unique blend of performance, heritage, and carefree style, whether you are a runner or just a fan of well-made trainers.

The Adrenaline GTS 4 retails for US$140 (~RM620) and is available for purchase via Brooks’ official website.
