Royal Canin Launches First-Ever “Purrever Healthy” Event For Malaysian Pet Parents

Pawsitive thinking is the way to go! Pet lovers marked their calendars as Royal Canin Malaysia launched its first-ever public event, Purrever Healthy, from 7th to 10th August 2025 at the Orange Concourse, Sunway Pyramid. The milestone event welcomed pet parents over the four-day celebration of #LifeLongHealth, aimed at educating them on the importance of precise nutrition, responsible pet ownership, and preventive care from birth to adulthood.

The event brought Royal Canin’s lifelong mission, A Better World for Pets, to life through a fully immersive experience that was equal parts fun, interactive, and meaningful. From the Pick Your Breed activity to Instagram-worthy cat-centric installations and a rewarding mission card challenge, the roadshow offered something purr-fect for every pet enthusiast, whether they were seasoned owners, curious first-timers, or simply feline fans.

“As a brand that truly believes in shaping a healthier future for pets, Royal Canin was proud to bring this meaningful initiative to Malaysian pet parents,” said Ms. Teh Meng Li, Market Head of Royal Canin Malaysia.

“We designed the Purrever Healthy event to spark conversations about the importance of preventive pet care, emphasise the unique needs of different cat breeds, and raise awareness on responsible pet ownership. By inviting the public to take part in this educational experience, we hoped to deepen understanding of how even small early decisions, like choosing the right nutritional diet or creating a safe environment, can impact a pet’s entire life.”

Visitors who registered at the event received a Mission Stamp Card, which served as their key to navigating four themed stations filled with discovery, interaction, and rewards. Once all four stations were completed, the stamp card formed a full mission artwork, doubling as a collectible door gift. Here’s what each station offered:

  • Pick Your Breed: Guests explored a beautiful Royal Canin feature wall featuring 26 cat breeds, voted for their favourites by placing a sticker, and learned more about each breed’s traits while considering lifestyle compatibility.

  • Love Letter To Your Cat: Visitors wrote personal messages or wishes for their feline companions on cat-shaped paper, then hung them on a Royal Canin board—a visual reminder of the bond between pets and people.

  • Cat Discovery Centre: The heart of the roadshow, this multi-sensory walkthrough educated visitors on kitten-safe homes, feline behaviour, and the role of nutrition in building immunity. Featuring a hallway tunnel, a whimsical Meowseum, and a life-sized living room, it showcased over 40 cats from more than 10 breeds across the four days. Partner breeders shared insights on each breed’s traits, temperament, and care needs, with some cats roaming for light interaction.

  • Photo Check-In Station: Guests ended their journey with picture-purrfect opportunities against Royal Canin-themed photo walls, sharing their photos online to celebrate completing their mission.

Throughout the weekend, pet parents also enjoyed a variety of activities supporting every stage of their journey. Free Vet Consultation Sessions were held twice daily on Saturday and Sunday, where attendees spoke with Royal Canin’s registered veterinarians about pet health and responsible ownership. Additionally, Royal Canin sponsored 10% of all product sales across the four days to partnering animal shelters.

Royal Canin’s Purrever Healthy was more than just a pet event – it gave visitors a fun, educational journey into pet health and nutrition. Attendees left with goodies, knowledge, and a better understanding of responsible pet ownership.

Royal Canin is now on TikTok Shop, making it easy for pet parents to shop their favourite products online with exclusive deals and livestreams. Learn more about the Start of Life initiative and give your furry friend the best care by visiting Royal Canin Malaysia or calling +603 7492 0188.
