South Korean actress Jeon Hye Bin (전혜빈), who recently appeared in the 2025 Netflix K-drama “Beyond the Bar (에스콰이어: 변호사를 꿈꾸는 변호사들)”, is in the spotlight for an unfortunate reason. The star revealed that she fell victim to theft during a recent family trip to Bali, losing KRW 15 million (approximately RM45,000) within minutes.

Taking to Instagram on 2nd October (Thursday), Hye Bin shared a screenshot of a map pinpointing the Ubud area, where the incident occurred. She said she wanted to raise awareness so that other travellers would not have to experience the same misfortune.

“My card was stolen in this area, and KRW 15 million was charged. Be careful, everyone in Ubud or planning to travel here soon. It happened just 10 minutes after I lost it,” she explained. According to her posts, the actress had travelled to Bali with her husband and young son to celebrate her child’s birthday. The destination was especially meaningful to her, as it was also the place where she tied the knot with her dentist partner in 2019.

Her relationship has been well-documented in Korean media, with outlets like Chosun reporting that her husband is three years her senior. The couple welcomed their son in September 2022, adding another milestone to their personal journey together.

Earlier this week, the actress also shared a carousel post featuring family moments from the trip. She reflected on how returning to Bali as a family of three felt symbolic, noting that it marked both her son’s birthday and the third anniversary of her becoming a mother.

While the theft may have dampened her spirits, the actress’s posts revealed she was still embracing the sentimental side of the trip. Fans responded with supportive messages, wishing her well after the ordeal and celebrating her cherished family memories.
