Rihanna sent fans into a frenzy when she dropped a surprise announcement that she was in Singapore last night (Monday, 1st October).
The pop star thrilled fans when she dropped by Sephora Ion Orchard to celebrate the first anniversary of her own brand Fenty Beauty. “Surprise Singapore! I’m here! Come meet me @sephorasg ion mall tonight. We ain’t done celebrating @fentybeauty’s anniversary yet. Can’t wait to see ya there!” she wrote on her Instagram stories.
Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty was launched in September last year. The brand was much-lauded for its inclusive 40-shade foundation range. Since then the beauty line has expanded by including brushes, highlighters, lipsticks, and eyeshadow palettes among other items. The most recent additions were 4 shades of her long-wear Stunna Lip Paints liquid lipstick.
Approximately 200 invite guests and members of the media gathered at the store to welcome the 30-year-old Barbadian. She was joined by Fenty make-up artists Hector Espinal and Priscilla Ono.
The “Work” singer was seen in vibrant cleavage-baring pink and red top and a pink and white striped high-waist skirt with red floral details around the waist. She later took to Instagram to share some sultry shots of herself striking a sexy pose, mentioning that Fenty Beauty is her secret weapon.
According to Strait Times, Riri was recently in Dubai over the weekend for her “Artistry and Beauty Talk”. During her appearance, the Hollywood star talked about her tips and tricks in achieving stunning artful makeup looks. Many fans from around the world flew in to be a part of the masterclass.
