Great news for REVELUVs in Malaysia! Red Velvet’s (레드벨벳) vocalist Wendy (웬디) has recently announced her first solo world tour, and she’s bringing her golden voice to our shores later this year!
The singer is embarking on her first solo world tour, “W:EALIVE”, later this year, starting with the kickoff concert in Seoul. The world tour includes stops in several Asian and North American cities, including Taipei, Chicago, Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur. Wendy’s concert in KL will take place on 20th December 2025 (Saturday). Concert organiser FriedRice Entertainment will unveil more details, including venue and seating plans, soon.
This upcoming tour is Wendy’s first solo tour since making her solo debut in 2021. It also marks her first tour since departing from SM Entertainment, following the expiry of her exclusive contract. She has since signed with ASND, but will remain in Red Velvet and be involved in the group’s future activities. Her KL show marks the singer’s first time holding a concert in Malaysia. However, she did perform in Malaysia in 2017 for a joint concert.
Meanwhile, ASND has confirmed that Wendy will be releasing a new album soon, so it’s likely she’ll perform new tracks at her upcoming concert, as well as songs from her previous EPs, “Like Water” and “Wish You Hell”. Nevertheless, given her impeccable performances and vocal prowess, we’re sure that Wendy will bring her best to this upcoming concert. Here’s what we know about the concert so far:
