Oh dear! Local celeb Rebecca Nur Al Islam announced yesterday (Thursday, 8th July) that 7 members of her family, in addition to 3 of her maids have tested positive for Covid-19.
The actress broke the unfortunate news on her Instagram account, revealing that her family “has been attacked by Covid-19.” She also shared a detailed description on the members of her household and staff that has been infected by the deadly virus.
According to Rebecca, apart from her husband, Datuk Nor Azam Sulaiman, 6 of their children, Nor Khayrin, Nor Adam Daniel, Nor Anggun Raverra, Nor Aliff Al Raffael, Nor Ahmet Al Reaggan and Nor Aurora Riana also tested positive for the virus. At the same time, the 35-year-old also informed that she and her 2 other kids tested negative.
Rebecca also revealed that her house gardener as well as her three other maids also tested negative for Covid-19. “What can I say for now is, please pray for my family. Especially my husband. His condition’s a bit worse as compared to the others. But I know that he’s strong,” she wrote on her post.
She concluded her statement by stating, “I apologise if there’s anyone who came in close contact with us in the last 7 days. I hope you guys can do the swab tests immediately. The only thing I need right now is your thoughtful prayers.”
