It’s been almost 2 years since popular Taiwanese singer Rainie Yang (杨丞琳)’s “A Tale of Two Rainies” (雙丞戲). And now, she will be releasing her 10th album, “年轮说” (English title yet to be available), at the end of the month!

As she will be celebrating her 17th anniversary as an artiste this month, it’s only fitting that her album is about time and growing up.

While the songstress’ upcoming album will be released on 30th September, Rainie will be releasing her title track of the same name tomorrow (7th September).

Written by talented Taiwanese songwriter Wu Tsing-Fong (青峰), it was reported that the track’s 360-degree music video will be shot using VR 360 technology. The singer even grew out her hair and dyed it purplish silver for the album’s concept.

Fun fact: Her hair-dying process took 10 hours!

Check out her gorgeous teaser photos below:

32-year-old Rainie Yang joined Taiwanese idol girl group 4 In Love in 2000 but the band disbanded in 2002 due to lack of popularity. She then gained immense fame for her lead role in “Devil Beside You” (惡魔在身邊, 2005), which was considered as a major turning point in her career.

As a musician, the singer has released a total of 9 albums including “My Intuition” (曖昧), “Meeting Love” (遇上愛), and “My Other Self” (任意門).
