Margasatwa’s lead singer Kimal posted a video on his social media over the weekend where he performed at a private event held at the Museum of Contemporary Arts (MOCA) in Kuantan, Pahang. The event was attended and officiated by Her Majesty, Raja Permaisuri Agong, Tunku Azizah.
As seen in the video, Kimal started off singing the song “Lagu Tentang Cinta” before heading towards the audience. What attendees probably didn’t expect was for the Queen herself to come up on stage with the local artist to perform a duet with him. “Once in a lifetime! I got the chance to duet with Tuanku Permaisuri Agong who is loved by the common people. I express my humblest gratitude, Your Majesty,” the singer captioned the post.
The TikTok post went viral with fans congratulating the indie musician for the phenomenal duet with someone of royal status. A few couldn’t believe that Her Majesty is such a cool and sporting person to give an unexpected live performance.
There is currently no info on whose idea it was for Tunku Azizah to do a duet with the Margasatwa frontman but regardless, everyone enjoyed the show and will definitely treasure this very rare moment.
