Prime Video Gears Up For Its Next Big K-Drama Hit With “Surely Tomorrow” Premiering In December

If you’ve been scrolling Prime Video lately, you’d notice one thing: the platform is slowly building a very solid K-drama catalogue. And its next big drop, “Surely Tomorrow”, feels like the kind of emotional, slow-burn romance that Malaysians love saving for weekend watch sessions.

Starring Park Seo-jun and Won Ji-an, the series premieres 6th December, with new episodes every Saturday and Sunday—perfect timing for those cosy, end-of-year binge moods.

A Romance That Keeps Coming Back Around

“Surely Tomorrow” tells the story of Lee Kyeong-do (Park Seo-jun) and Seo Ji-woo (Won Ji-an), two people whose paths keep crossing even when life pulls them apart. They fall in love in their early 20s, break up, reconnect years later, break up again… only to meet once more in their 30s under far more complicated circumstances—he’s now a journalist covering a major scandal, and she’s the wife of the man at the centre of it.

The series taps into nostalgia, timing, and the “what if” that lingers long after a relationship ends, guided by director Lim Hyun-ook and writer Yu Young-ah, both known for crafting emotional, character-driven stories.

Prime Video’s K-Content Is Getting Stronger

“Surely Tomorrow” arrives as part of Prime Video’s steadily growing K-drama lineup, joining titles like “Confidence Queen”, “Head Over Heels”, “GOOD BOY”, “The Divorce Insurance”, “Newtopia”, and “No Gain No Love”. It’s a catalogue that’s quickly shaping up to be a solid destination for fans who love emotional storytelling and easy weekend binges.

On top of that, Prime Video also hosts anime favourites such as “Jujutsu Kaisen 0”, “Rurouni Kenshin”, and the much-talked-about “Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX”, giving viewers even more reasons to stay tuned between new episode drops.

With its weekly release format, “Surely Tomorrow” is set to become one of those weekend staples— emotional, comforting, and paced in a way that keeps you invested. And with Park Seo-jun returning to a full romance role, it’s already gaining attention from fans looking for something heartfelt to close out the year.

“Surely Tomorrow” premieres 6th December, exclusively on Prime Video (RM25/month), with new episodes every Saturday and Sunday.
