Pop Open A Cold One Cuz The Tiger Street Food Festival Is Back & Better Than Ever!

Street food is undeniably an integral part of Malaysians’ everyday life, alongside Tiger – a beer born and raised in the streets of Asia. This is the beer that has continued to support this essential even when dining out became impossible in recent years due to Covid-19. All of this was done to make sure that the local street food vendors received the appreciation they deserved.

This year, Tiger is making a major comeback with its legendary on-ground street food festival for a street food food experience unlike any other after two years of holding its fan-favourite Street Food Festival virtually.

This year’s theme for the Tiger Street Food Festival features all things hot and spicy. But of course, to genuinely complete the street food experience, Tiger Crystal is the ideal way to savour these strong flavours.

Alongside the Tiger Fire Truck, everyone now stands the chance to visit the Fire Truck at a few select locations in the Klang Valley, Penang, Ipoh, Melaka, and Johor regions from now until 14th October, 2022, in order to further amp up the excitement of the hottest search.

This “Lok Lok” truck with a twist delivers inventive skewers of well-known street food flavours along with a selection of hot and spicily flavoured soup bases and sauces. Fans will get the opportunity to enjoy cuisines selected by well-known local street food sellers in a way that has never been possible. These dishes include Curry Laksa, Tom Yum, Prawn Noodles, White Pepper, Mala, and Spicy Sour Vegetable Soup Bases.

Fans who want to feel the heat can participate in competitions like the Fire Challenge, where they can push themselves to the maximum while eating the spiciest street food and win ice-cold Tiger Crystal that goes wonderfully with it. The “Hottest Hour” activation at particular times each weekend in the areas will undoubtedly turn up the heat with the hottest fan promotions!

Tiger Beer Sets The Tone For Chinese New Year With Media Leaders

By recommending their favourite street food venues, the company also invites Malaysian followers and foodies to join the trendiest street food quest. When they are at their preferred street food locations, they may use the microsite to drop a pin to promote the spot for other street food enthusiasts to try, and they will also receive incentives.

Tiger would have established an exclusive street food directory with all the recommendations and evaluations from fans, which would be accessible to Malaysians looking for some of the best street food items in town.

“We are committed to continually elevating the street food experience for Malaysians, and this year’s hottest hunt is no different. We wanted fans to be part of the ultimate street food experience and not only learn about new spots but contribute their say leading up to our festival. We hope that with this year’s theme of firing up hot and spicy street food flavours, fans bring the heat and are excited to enjoy the hottest street food, paired perfectly with Tiger Crystal,” said Joyce Lim, Marketing Manager of Tiger Beer Malaysia.

Even prior to the event, fans can already participate in the fun by savouring street foods from the comfort of their own homes. Tiger Beer and Tiger Crystal’s limited-edition packaging for this year’s Tiger Street Food promotion is designed to resemble popular local street foods such Char Kuey Teow, Grilled Sting Ray, and Lok Lok. Several hypermarkets, supermarkets, restaurants, and food courts distribute these limited-edition cans and bottles.

Be sure to look for additional information on the microsite in the coming weeks if you’re a fan of the eagerly anticipated Tiger Street Food Festival, which debuts on the 27th of October. Fans are in for an upgraded street food experience, coupled wonderfully with Tiger Crystal, with maze-like lanes and secret rooms to uncover more incentives and prizes.

Only non-Muslims over the age of 21 are permitted to participate in Tiger Beer, the Tiger Street Food Festival, and any associated events and marketing. Go to their Facebook or follow their Instagram for more details about Tiger Beer, Tiger Crystal and the Tiger Street Food Festival.

But remember to drink responsibly and moderately. Stay safe and never drive if you’re drinking. Bottoms up!
