Woah, talk about innovation! Pizza Hut Malaysia has recently upgraded their pizza eating and ordering experience by introducing its first digital concept store.
The launch, which took place at the Sunway Pyramid outlet earlier this week, featured 3 brand new takeaway kiosks, an AR (Augmented Reality) pizza making game on their menus, plus 2 adorable robot waiters!
Customers can now place their takeaway orders at the large panels situated outside of the fast food restaurant. Once you’ve fill out your custom orders and make your payment via cash or credit card, you may also leave your phone number behind. With this convenience, you won’t be required to wait. So feel free to explore the shopping mall and continue your shopping. Customers will be notified once their order is ready.
For those dining in, digital menus with AR functions are provided at each table. Not only will diners get to experience their food come to life, but there are also fun games to pass the time while waiting. That’s right, thanks to the digital menu, you can also have fun creating your very own virtual pizza.
“In developing Pizza Hut’s digital strategy, we went back to the essence of what the food industry is about. For us, this means making it easier for our customers to get a better pizza – whether in store or at home or anywhere at all,” CEO of QSR Brands, Merrill Pereyra, was quoted as saying.
In addition, Pizza Hut has also launched their very own mobile pizza delivery app. With 3 easy clicks, you can have your food delivered right to your doorstep. From these purchases, customers will be able to collect Pizza Points that can be used to redeem free side dishes, drinks, pizza, and other goodies.
That’s not all, Pizza Hut Malaysia is giving away 35,000 free pizzas when you download the Pizza Hut mobile app. Order a regular pizza and you’ll get another regular pizza for free. This promo is only valid till 30th October (while stocks last).
