Fancy yourself a good laugh? Then head right over to Quill City Mall’s convention centre on 23rd November, when the original Singaporean comedian maestro, Phua Chu Kang, comes to town to work on his magic.
To the uninitiated, Phua Chu Kang was a character played by actor Gurmit Singh, 54, in the infamously hilarious series titled “Phua Chu Kang Pte Ltd”. The series was about the life of Phua Chu Kang and the adventures he had with his family in their everyday life.
Fashioning a facial mole, and yellows boots, Phua Chu Kang has always been a television icon of Singapore. Not only that, but if you ever been to one of his stand-ups you would have recognise his unique use of Singlish (Singaporean English) in his act, which will certainly be something different.
So no matter whether you’re a fan of the comedian, or simply trying to find a place for a good laugh (read: de-stress), this event will certainly be one to look out for.
