LaLaport Bukit Bintang City Centre (BBCC) has become one of the hottest hubs for all things Japanese culture and entertainment. The shopping centre wowed us with its new stores and cafes a few months ago, and there’s apparently more to come.
If you’ve recently visited the establishment, you may have already noticed that a new store is currently under development and set to open soon. According to photos circulating online, it’s confirmed that Mitsui Outlet Park will open its doors at LaLaport BBCC. Here’s what we know so far:
Earlier this week, the Malaysia Shopping Mall Facebook page posted a series of photos revealing that a Mitsui Outlet Park is currently under development on the 3rd floor at LaLaport BBCC. “KL’s first outlet concept shopping in the heart of Bukit Bintang,” read the advertisement. For those who may not be familiar, Mitsui Outlet Park is a premium outlet mall by Mitsui Fudosan, the same company that operates multiple LaLaport shopping centres across Asia, offering discounted prices on select branded items.
While no official opening date has been announced yet, we may have an idea of what to expect from this upcoming outlet. Some of you may have already visited the Mitsui Outlet Park KLIA Sepang, which is popular among both locals and tourists. It’s highly likely that the Mitsui Outlet Park at LaLaport BBCC will also feature a mix of luxury and mid-range fashion brands, sportswear, home décor, and specialty stores.
