Raya is right around the corner, aren’t you excited for the delicious food, ‘green’ packets, and festive decor? For sure, you’ll be occupied with a lot during this festive season, but don’t forget to take a breather when you need to.

What better way to take a breather than visiting the local malls around town. Do some Raya shopping, spend time with your family, and snap lots of pictures for your Instagram feed! While you’re at it, check out the stunning decorations, earn rewards, be entertained by the performances, as well as enjoy special activities prepared by the malls. Here are some of the shopping malls you should visit this Raya season:

Pavilion Kuala Lumpur

Pavilion Kuala Lumpur never disappoints with their magnificent festive decorations each festival. For this year’s Hari Raya, the mall seeks to bridge the gap between traditional cultural heritage and the modern world. Featuring a heritage house transformed to become a modern heritage house with the use of batik decoration and experiential projection mapping, dive into learning more about the cultures and traditions of Malay heritage with one of the most popular mall in Bukit Bintang. Surrounding the Centre Court are also stunning stained-glass panels inspired by Islamic art and architecture that create a colourful backdrop to the 150-year-old house.

Pavilion’s iconic landmark, the Crystal Fountain, is decorated for this special session too. In collaboration with Coach, charming pink lanterns surround the fountain while illuminated crescents and stars hang above its entrance. The lanterns bring about a warm feeling as it shines in front of Pavilion KL during Raya.
