Is now the best time to buy a car? Perodua is currently offering between 3%-6% cash rebates for its vehicle models.
This comes after Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin announced plans to implement 100% sales tax exemption on locally-assembled (CKD) cars and 50% on fully-imported vehicles.
“We want everyone to take this opportunity to own a Perodua without worrying about being left out,” said Perodua CEO Datuk Zainal Abidin Ahmad. The new price reduction will take effect from 15th June till 31st December.
“This move to fully exempt CKD cars from sales tax is a confidence boost for the automotive industry, not just for car buyers but the entire ecosystem of manufacturers, suppliers and dealers. Along with low financing rates at this difficult time, we are cautiously optimistic that this will spur new car sales,” Zainal added.

- Bezza: RM33,456 – RM48,356 (3.25% off)
- Myvi: RM41,292 – RM52,197 (3.5% off)

- Aruz: RM68,526 – RM73,226 (6% off)
