sooka is set to debut its first-ever reality programme, “Pencuri Hati”, today (Friday, 9th December)! The series will feature Zul Ariffin as the “Celebrity Bachelor”. In the 10-episode dating reality show, 13 hot and single ladies will be competing against one another in various weekly challenges to win the affection of the hunky star.
Apart from Zul, “Pencuri Hati” also features the appearance of two “Resident Advisors” – TV host Sherry Alhadad and local influencer Dr. Say Shazril. The duo will act as a mediator between the female contestants and the “Celebrity Bachelor”.
“We are delighted to be the first local entertainment app to come up with a Bachelor Celebrity reality programme in Malaysia. The introduction of ‘Pencuri Hati’ is also based on the positive feedback from our previous sooka Originals series. This has prompted us to be more confident in trying various new formats. This is also based on the phenomenon of reality shows about finding love, which is a trend that millennials are interested in nowadays,” said Emarina Kamal, sooka’s Head of Content.
So, what drew Zul to take part in the dating show? According to the “Talbis Iblis” star, “I see it as a new challenge and experience in my career. The concept of the program is also very interesting. It is also a good platform for the participants to also get to know me more as myself, and not as an actor. In addition, there are various segments in this program, including fitness, cooking, fashion, and hobbies. These are the factors that can help the participants to know me more deeply.”
