Penang Marriott Hotel Announces Fabulous Festive Celebrations For The CNY 2026 Dining Event

Welcoming the Year of the Horse in 2026, Penang Marriott Hotel is thrilled to announce its Chinese New Year offers, featuring festive menus across all the well-known restaurants, such as Sago, Kucina, Lava Java, and The Great Room. This limited-time celebration offers traditional Chinese New Year cuisine and international buffet stations to satisfy all palates, inviting families and close ones to gather and celebrate the Year of the Horse.

In honor of the Chinese New Year, the Prosperity Buffet Dinner menu is available from 16th February to 18th February, 6.30pm to 10.30pm. Designed as a luxurious festive cuisine, the buffet includes live cooking stations, premium seafood, and unique celebratory cuisine. The atmosphere reflects wealth, abundance, and luxurious celebration.

Spotlight dishes include Steamed Fish with Supreme Soy Sauce, Tiger Prawn, and Traditional Longevity Noodles prepared to order. Along with main dishes, delicious sweets like Triple Chocolate Firecracker Entremets and Tropical Fruited-Inspired Creations are prepared as well to end the celebration on a sweet note. The buffet is priced at RM268 nett per adult and RM128 nett per senior citizen and children.

From 19th January to 13th February, the Prosperity Chef’s Daily Special menu is served both for lunch (12.30pm to 3.00pm) and dinner (6.30pm to 10.30pm) at Sago. On this menu, guests can select from a small dish and soup, such as Prosperity Healthy Salad, Golden Pumpkin Salad, Golden Fish Maw Soup, and Eternal Soup.

Main dishes include Poached Salmon, COD Fish, and Assam Pedas, while desserts such as Mandarin Pavlova and Fortune Cookies Mille Feuille provide a delightful finish. This 3-course set menu cost only RM138 nett. In addition, Sago serves Smoked Salmon Yee Sang to celebrate wealth and good luck from 19th January to 3rd March.

For broader family gatherings, the hotel offers the Prosperity Special Menu, ideal for tables of 10 guests, which allows guests to enjoy a feast of traditional delicacies surrounded by happiness, wealth, and good fortune. Available from 19th January to 28th February at Penang Marriott Hotel, this 7- or 8-course dinner highlights traditional banquet-style dishes, including Steam Golden Pomfret, Wok Fried Slipper Lobster, and Traditional Claypot Rice and many more.

Beyond dining, the Galloping Fortune Hamper is presented by Lava Java to share the spirit of abundance and for gifting and sharing blessings, available between 1st January and 3rd March, starting from RM299 onwards. Additionally, Lava Java debuts its Prosperity Iced Tea, RM19 nett per glass, served from 19th January to 3rd March, representing wealth, good fortune, and success.

To elevate the festive atmosphere, Kucina presents the Tè Pomeridiano della Fortuna, an Afternoon Tea priced at RM108 nett per person. This is available from 19th January to 3rd March, 2.30pm to 5.30pm, alongside a selection of sweet, savory, and scone bakeries and pastries for the guests. Meanwhile, The Great Room will offer Curated Prosperity Cocktails that are fused with cultural flavors of prosperity, harmony, and happiness. Guests can enjoy a Buy 4 Get 1 Free promotion or purchase at RM49 nett per glass.
