They say where you grow up influences your personality. Well, after his share of dates, this man from Kedah claims he can pinpoint whether Malaysian girls are princesses or pleasant, simply based on where they are from.

Just last month, a local man took to Dcard to share his thoughts on Penang girls, claiming they were the best ones to be with. However, as he has his favourite, he also shared the worst girls to be with. As it turns out, he called out Melaka girls, claiming they all had “princess syndrome”!

The Kedah boy shared he had moved to KL for his studies, and has had two girlfriends since attending college. “They were both from Penang,” he stated. “I didn’t particularly choose them, they just both happened to be (from Penang).”

However, supposedly, he’s not regretted it, even claiming he can’t date anyone else since being together with Penang girls. “I don’t know why, but I feel they are more considerate and interesting,” he added. “More importantly, they know how to dress nicely and don’t ask for much.”

The Kedah boy added girls from Penang also made good friends, as the ones he knew were all outgoing. “By the way, the most (annoying) ones are from Melaka,” he said. “(I’ve dated) two of them and it ended badly, both (had) princess syndrome.”

Netizens in the comments agreed with him, with one saying: “Finally someone found out (how good) Penang (people are),” and “Wow, it seems I’m not the only one (with bad experiences with) Melaka people“.

They also claimed KL ladies were rich and liked dating them as they didn’t have to worry about meals with them. Another shared the only thing he and his Penang girlfriend disagree on is the colour of Hokkien noodles.

Well, there’s no denying that not everyone is compatible with each other. But, a relationship is always a two-way street, so we suppose you do get back what you put out.
