In celebration of its upcoming 25th anniversary, the country’s largest animal fundraiser project and charity concert titled “Pawse For A Cause” is scheduled to host its second overall Malaysian. With Lost Animal Souls Shelter (LASS) as the chosen beneficiary, the primary objective of the programme is to raise RM100,000 for the non-profit, no-kill canine welfare organisation incepted in 2013, so as to help in its efforts surrounding the construction of a full-on quarantine centre and clinic for sick dogs as well as other costs such as healthcare, general maintenance, and human resources.

Pawse For A Cause: A Charity Concert in aid of Lost Animal Souls Shelter is organised by Chameleon Entertainment in partnership with Seema Subash OmniMedia and DJ & Gillich Entertainment Worldwide. Slated to happen on Saturday (August 15th), the concert will include musical luminaries Gerrard Singh, Paperplane Pursuit, Prema Yin, Ash Nair, Hannah Lo, Elvira Arul, Joy Victor, Mira Hatta, Ray Cheong, Talitha Tan (ft. Jude Bensing) as well as comedians Bibi K. Poh, Papi Zak and Australian laugh-guru, Jonathan Atherton. Hosting the charity concert is 2009 Miss World Malaysia and animal rights advocate, Thanuja Ananthan.

Meanwhile, a supplementary layer dubbed #LASSTreasures has been added to the movement and features nine LASS-rescued puppies. Paired with the show’s artistes, the five named by them are Bambi (Talitha Tan); Chester (Jude Bensing); Aphrodite (Ash Nair); Apollo (Hannah Lo); and Russell (Ray Cheong). The other four include siblings Hero and Hera (Joy Victor); Charlie (Gerard Singh); and Shaqwandé (Papi Zak).

Structured upon the pillars of awareness and education, the project’s fundamental call-to-action is public support through cash or kind. To secure a seat at the concert, the invitations-via-donation box office is now open with three categories of event passes available—RM300 (VIP); RM150 (Mainstage); and Balcony (RM125).

To get on the invitation list please contact Seema Subash at 016 236 3197, Vig Chelliah at 016 311 9637 and Deborah Joy Alfred at 016 265 1013. Group buys for corporate bodies are available upon request. RSVPs are by cashon-delivery and are non-refundable.
