Tyson Illingworth also known as tyDi from Queensland, Australia was signed by Armin Van Buuren’s Armada label at the age of 17. The songwriter, music producer and DJ was also Australia’s No.1 DJ in 2008 and 2009 making him the youngest winner of this award.
tyDi who studied at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music graduated with a Bachelor of Music Technology released his first album Look Closer which peaked at No.2 in the Australian Dance charts in 2009. A year later, he won Best Break-Through DJ at the International Dance Music Awards in Miami.
tyDi released his second album Shooting Stars in 2011 and it reached No.1 on the Australian, Canadian, Finnish, and UK iTunes Dance Charts. The young musician who has accomplished more than most people may say in lifetime, spends most of his time touring the world throughout all of Europe, United States of America, Asia, Canada and Australia.
tyDi will be making his way to PLAY club, June 6th 2014 tonight so come out and play boys and girls! It is a Friday after all!
