Oreo’s Malaysia Celebrates Father’s Day With Free Movie Tix!

As we mark the celebration of all fathers on 16 June 2013, Oreo is also calling all Malaysians to celebrate the gift of family. After collecting more than a million minutes of bonding dedicated by Malaysians to their families, Oreo wants to make one million minutes of bonding a reality by giving  away free movie tickets nationwide to Malaysian families for them to spend more quality time together. Nationwide registration for the movie tickets starts on Father’s Day morning here from 9am onwards.

Oreo’s “One Million Minutes of Bonding Moments” campaign is a call to all Malaysians to come together to dedicate their minutes for family bonding time. The campaign which ends on Father’s Day, 16 June 2013, saw more than three million minutes dedicated within less than a month from the campaign roll out.

Keeping the spirit of family bonding moments, the world’s favourite cookie, Oreo, will bring to life the one million minutes of bonding moments. Oreo promises Malaysians a nationwide delightful day out to be filled with much fun, love and laughter with free screenings of a newly released popular animated movie on 23rd June 2013. Rallying Malaysians to support family togetherness, Malaysians are encouraged to come dressed in blue on movie screening day.

In celebration of this monumental event, more than 6,500 Malaysians will be expected with approximately three hours/180 minutes of time spent for family bonding activities. The following is the list of participating cinemas nationwide for simultaneous movie viewing:

GSC – 3.00pm

  • Kuala Lumpur – GSC Pavilion KL
  • Selangor – GSC 1Utama
  • Kedah (Sungai Petani) – GSC Amanjaya Mall
  • Penang – GSC Queensbay
  • Negeri Sembilan (Seremban) – GSC Terminal One
  • Malacca – GSC Dataran Pahlawan
  • Johor Bahru – GSC Pelangi Leisure Mall
  • Pahang (Kuantan) – GSC East Coast Mall
  • Sabah (Kota Kinabalu) – GSC Suria Sabah
  • Sarawak (Kuching) – GSC CityONE Megamall

TGV – 2.00pm and 2.30pm

  • Perak (Ipoh) – TGV Station 18
  • Terengganu (Kerteh) – TGV Mesra Mall

As the campaign draws near to its sweet close, Oreo wants you to keep dedicating precious minutes of bonding moments with your loved ones. Every little moment counts and Oreo believes that bonding moments go a long way in bringing families closer.
