Former member Zayn honoured Liam, sharing a photo of the two huddled together while asleep. In his letter, he wrote, “Liam, I have found myself talking out loud to you, hoping you can hear me, I can’t help but think selfishly that there are so many more conversations for us to have in our lives.” He also expressed his admiration and respect for Liam and captioned his post with “Love You Bro”.
As of writing, Niall is the only member yet to release an individual statement on social media, but fans who spotted him after the news noted that he looked devastated. We extend our condolences to all four members, and may they find solace in this difficult time.
