Feeling insecure about your body lately? Rihanna‘s got your back… and your backside.
Anne Hathaway recently confessed she was feeling self-conscious of her post-baby body after giving birth to son Jonathan Rosebanks Shulman. Although she had come to terms with the industry’s pressures of body image, it was a challenge for the Oscar winner when she signed to star in “Ocean’s 8”.
“I don’t beat myself up about any of that stuff anymore, but after I had my son, the weight was really slow to come off and so I was a different size than I normally am,” the 35-year-old actress said during her appearance on the “Ellen DeGeneres Show”.
Cast-mates Sandra Bullock and Cate Blanchett were super encouraging. “I walked on the set, and my weight’s a little up and I’m just aware of it…and I’m in my jeans, and I’ve done my best and I’m gonna love myself no matter what. And Sandy Bullock looks up and goes, ‘You look good mama.’ And then Cate Blanchett’s like, ‘Nice jeans, Hathaway’,” Hathaway recalled.
However, it was Rihanna’s racy compliment that got Hathaway really jazzed. “Rihanna looks up and goes, ‘Damn, girl, you got an ass!’ And I of course was freaked out, and loved it so much. I was like ‘Really?’ She was like ‘You’ve got an ass like me!’” she told the talk-show host.
More is more, indeed. Now how do we get ourselves on a movie set with Riri? We’d like the singer to shower us with compliments as well 😉
