(Video) Nur Sajat On BLACKPINK’s Concert In KL: “It’s A Good Investment”

The girls of BLACKPINK certainly brought tons of delight to fans with their “Born Pink” concert tour in Kuala Lumpur last weekend. Interestingly, the event saw an attendance of about 60,000 people, making it one of the largest live audiences that the girl group has ever had before.

However, this news has apparently rubbed some people the wrong way. Just recently, a PAS parliament member urged the federal government to “control” concerts organised by foreign artistes, including K-pop acts like BLACKPINK, claiming that they cause “unease” among Muslims. However, popular cosmetics businesswoman Nur Sajat has her own say on the matter.

In a video posted on the TikTok account @sajatperempuanfuh, the trans figure pointed out that concerts organised by international artistes were a type of investment. “Those who attended the concert are not only from Malaysia, but from other countries such as Thailand and Singapore as well. It’s a good investment, because people are buying (the tickets),” Sajat said.

“You have to understand that the concert is not 100% profitable for the BLACKPINK members, but it (also) gives profits to our tourism sector. People from other countries like Brunei who are excited to see the group perform, also came down to Malaysia to attend the concert. This is business, this is called tourism,” the “Bobo Di Mana” singer added.

Scrolling through the comments, many praised Sajat for her on point take on the issue. Read what they said:
