Here we go again: Air Selangor has just announced that there will be water disruptions later today (Tuesday, 10th November) starting from 6pm onwards.
The latest water cut will affect 1279 areas (1,139,008 account holders) in Kuala Lumpur, Petaling, Klang, Shah Alam, Kuala Selangor, Gombak and Kuala Langat.
In a Facebook post, it is understood that the water treatment plan (LRA) at Rantau Panjang, Sungai Selangor Phase (SSP) 1,2 and 3 have stopped operating since this afternoon at around 12:45pm.
Lembaga Urus Air Selangor (LUAS) authorities shared that the Rantau Panjang water treatment plant recorded an odour pollution of 8 TON (Threshold Odor Number). Meanwhile, the odour pollution at SSP1,2 dan 3 are recorded at 4 TON.
