Indie band lovers, we’ve got news for ya’ll 😉
The long-awaited Northern Music Festival (NMF) is finally back and this time, it’s bigger than ever! The music event will be held in culturally rich Penang on 12th and 13th November 2016.
Featuring 4 stages – The Wildchild Stage, The Wanderlust Stage, The Electrify Stage, and The Vagabond Stage – over the span of 2 days, the NMF is said to be “the next platform for local independent bands to showcase their music and talents”. A total of 60 bands will be playing at the event, and the organiser has revealed the line up for the first phase.
The first phase of bands includes SevenCollar T-shirt, OAG (an acronym for Old Automatic Garbage or Orang Asia Genius), Oh Chentaku, 2dB, Tres Empre, Restraint, An Honest Mistake, and more.
The festival will also have various vendors selling arts and crafts, food and beverages, local and international clothing brands, and merchandises.

- Date: 12th – 13th November 2016
- Venue: Quarry Park, Botanical Garden, Penang
- Ticketing: RM38 (early bird), RM48 (phase 1), RM58 (phase 2), RM78 (phase 3)
