Nigerian Singer Rema To Hold First KL Concert In October; Ticketing Details Released

We have great news for fans of Nigerian singer and rapper Rema in Malaysia! The sensational musician has announced that he will hold his first concert in Malaysia this October at Zepp Kuala Lumpur!

This concert marks the Afrobeat/Afrorave musician’s performance in Malaysia – and he’s bringing all his best beats and greatest hits. Rema will perform at Zepp Kuala Lumpur on 16th October 2024 (Wednesday). The concert is organised by Nomads Live, Primuse Live, and Capital Touring Asia and supported by Five Elements Agency. Ticket prices start at RM298 and are now available at myticket.asia.

Rema, whose real name is Divine Ikubor, first gained popularity online in 2018 after posting a freestyle rap set to “Gucci Gang” by fellow Nigerian musician D’Prince. He then launched his professional music career, releasing his debut single, “Dumebi” in 2019. The singer-songwriter later released his self-titled debut EP, with songs which received love from the public and renowned brands like FIFA. Former United States President Barack Obama is also a fan of the 24-year-old musician, featuring his songs in his annual summer playlist.

Rema achieved international success with the remix of his song “Calm Down”, which featured American popstar Selena Gomez. The song peaked at number one on the Billboard Afrobeats chart and number three on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The music video for the track is also one of Rema’s most viewed videos on his YouTube channel, recording over 900 million views as of August 2024. There’s no doubt that Rema will perform his biggest hit and more at his concert – so if you want to rave with Rema, here are details of his concert:
