Paramount Pictures and Legendary Pictures have officially released a new full-length trailer for their upcoming live-action Street Fighter feature film adaptation.
The fresh preview delves deeper into the strained relationship between estranged martial artists Ryu, played by Andrew Koji, and Ken Masters, portrayed by Noah Centineo. The duo is drawn back together by Chun-Li, played by Callina Liang, to enter the high-stakes World Warrior Tournament.
While initial moments frame a serious martial arts narrative, the trailer quickly pivots to embrace a self-aware, campy tone featuring arcade-faithful moves, including Ryu’s Hadouken and Chun-Li’s Spinning Bird Kick.
The stacked ensemble cast features an eclectic mix of Hollywood stars, athletes, and entertainers. WWE superstars Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns appear as Guile and Akuma, respectively, alongside David Dastmalchian as M. Bison, Jason Momoa as a motion-captured Blanka, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson as Balrog, and Orville Peck as Vega. Comedian Eric André also makes an appearance as chaotic ring announcer Don Sauvage.
Produced in direct partnership with Capcom, Street Fighter is scheduled to premiere exclusively in theaters worldwide on October 16, 2026.
