In the past, some influencers have been exposed for faking their “luxurious” lifestyle. Many called out a local content creator for lying about buying a RM1 million apartment while another public figure was accused of photoshopping her photos on Instagram.
This South Korean influencer has been going viral on social media after netizens noticed something incredibly off about all the photos and videos she posted on her Instagram.
Shashaeile (샤샤엘르)(a.ka. shasha_soosoo_ on her socials) has been getting a lot of attention lately for the content she posts on her social media. At first glance, the fashion influencer posted photos and videos of her modelling her own products or doing daily activities but what caught people’s attention was not her business or lifestyle but her heavily edited photos.
As seen in the images above, the content creator’s limbs look disproportionally long and large with her head being disturbingly tiny and her face being eerily childlike compared to the rest of her body. Not only that, the background in some of these photos appear distorted. If neither of these were creepy enough, the public figure’s face shows little to no expression as she stares directly into the camera.
Surprisingly, netizens were more amused by the businesswoman’s content. Most joked about how natural she looks in her photos while others commented how the background “bent” to her will whenever she poses for a photo. A few admire her confidence in not caring how ridiculously preposterous her photos look.
So far, Shashaeile has never commented on why she chooses to make herself appear so “unusual” in her photos. One can only assume that she may be doing it to protect her true identity to avoid being recognised or stalked in public. If that were the case then she’s doing a fantastic job of looking as non-humanly as possible.
