Japanese pool player Naoyuki Oi is one funny man. Although he doesn’t speak fluent English, that didn’t stop him from nailing his post-match interview.

Over the weekend, Oi beat Cheng Yu Hsuan 8-6 at the World Pool Master tournament in Gibraltar. After his victorious match, he was then interviewed by Sky Sports presenter Tony Wrighton and the conversation between the 2 men went viral on social media.

When asked about his win, Oi confidently replied, “My name is Naoyuki Oi. Today very lucky. Congratulations me! Yeah!”

He continued, “English, a little, no problem, only so.”

The pool player even quoted and mimicked the actions of comedian Pikotaro’s (real name Daimaou Kosaka) viral “PPAP” (pen-pineapple-apple-pen) skit.

“Naoyuki Oi gave one of the most bizarre post-match interviews after his first-round win in the World Pool Masters,” wrote Sky Sports.

Unfortunately, the 34-year-old sportsman lost his quarter-final match. When Wrighton asked him on his loss, Oi, who was looking a little sad, said, “Excuse me, can I speak English. You, me. No English, No problem. Every time happy.”
