Famous fast-food chain Nando’s is famously known to serve healthy and scrumptious meals. Currently, they are now focusing more on a healthier lifestyle with the #GetBackOnTrack campaign.
Launched earlier this week, a variety of new healthy meals along with delicious proteins like the PERi-PERi chicken and chick-free options, are now set to improve the menu. Nando’s has collaborated with fitness centres to help fans get back on track and lead a more balanced lifestyle.
The CEO of Nando’s Malaysia Stephen Chew stated, “The emphasis on living a healthier life is more apparent than before. People are constantly looking for a healthier and more sustainable balance in their diet by eating less meat, more greens whilst still indulging in great flavours.
We at Nando’s have always focused on playing a positive role in the community so we want to say that it’s okay to fall off the healthy-eating wagon once in a while as long as you get back on that journey of healthy living through healthy eating. We feel it’s much easier to do when you have tasty and healthy meals”.
Nando’s offers a range of new meals such as a protein-packed meals without any meat. The Portobello Mushroom with Tofu Burger is described as mushroom gently grilled in any of your chosen PERi-PERi flavour. This comes with a flame-grilled tofu patty together with Nando’s special chili jam, in a burger added with vegetables. You can even have it in a satisfying wrap.
Nando’s also offers a Veggie Carnival Bowl which comes with portobello mushroom, fragrant Spicy Rice, corn, vibrant red peppers, and crisp baby spinach for a more balanced and meat-free meal. All these three meals are cheap! You can get them at a price of RM20 each.
If anyone loves chicken and a wholesome meal, try the Happy Trio Chicken Bowl, which is an all-in-one meal with chicken tenders, spicy rice, corn, red peppers, and baby spinach. If you want to spice things up, get the Ultimate Trio Chicken Bowl with added portobello mushrooms. Ignoring the main meals, there are also healthy sharable appetisers on the menu together with the brand new Tofu Sticks & Dip and the comeback of the Portobello Mushroom Bowl.
