Bad news for green tea dessert lovers, there’s 1 less matcha restaurant in town

If you frequently hang out in the Mid Valley Megamall/ The Garden’s Mall area, we’re sorry to announce that Nana’s Green Tea has closed down. The franchise released an official statement on their Facebook page recently.

Source: Facebook

The statement reads:

“LAST DAY FOR NGT GARDENS MALL

Thank you for your patronage over the years, our 1st outlet will be closed with effect from 1st August 2018. Please continue to support us and enjoy your favourite matcha delicacies at our Pavilion KL outlet.”

It’s sad the franchise’s 1st outlet is no longer available after being around for 4 years at Lower Ground, in the Gardens Shopping Mall. Many customers have hail it as the No.1 “Japanese Starbucks”. Despite the well-praised food quality, the price increase has been a turn off for numerous patrons.

Nevertheless, you can still try Nana’s Green Tea at their other outlet in Pavilion KL (as aforementioned). Sadly, the One Utama Shopping Mall outlet has also been replaced.
