HABIB Group’s Buka Puasa Gathering
We joined HABIB Group at its dazzling buka puasa event, where guests were given insights into HABIB Jewels, Timezone, Chantique, and Ar-Rahnu Express, before being treated to a sumptuous iftar. The evening began with an exclusive tour of HABIB Ampang 1, where guests explored the showroom’s exquisite fine jewelry collections, bespoke services, and the renowned Hearts On Fire diamonds. The journey continued through other brands under the HABIB Group, showcasing a rich legacy of craftsmanship and innovation.
At the Pandora Malaysia showcase, guests were introduced to the latest ‘BE LOVE, Beraya’ campaign, celebrating Hari Raya Aidilfitri with jewelry that embodies love, connection, and festive elegance. The collection, featuring pieces from Pandora Timeless, Pandora Moments, and Pandora Essence, captures the season’s beauty with intricate details and radiant stones.
As the sun set, guests made their way to HARTA for iftar, sharing a meal that symbolised gratitude and togetherness. A special address by Dato’ Sri Meer Habib highlighted the significance of unity across all HABIB brands, reinforcing a shared commitment to celebrating traditions with contemporary elegance. Nothing Phone (3a) Launch
Nothing finally untied the leash of its much-anticipated open secret, the Phone (3a), at a stunning launch event. In typical Nothing style, the brand wanted to leave an impression, make a statement, and wow the crowd with design and presentation. The Phone (3a) is more of a budget segment phone, but “budget segment” does not mean budget effort. The regular and Pro versions of the phone are both characterful and distinctive offerings from the rising brand, meant to demonstrate that, beautiful or polarising, your phone should not be weak or boring.
Powered by a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 with Android 15, 5,000mAh, and a 120Hz screen, the (3a) will keep up with daily tasks and the occasional productivity excursion; but the main focus is the camera systems, mainly TrueLense Engine 3 image processing and full-fat rear cameras on the Pro variant, with a periscope telephoto with 2x optical zoom. Nothing pulled out all the stops and collaborated with fashion photographer and direct Chuan Looi to create an elaborate cyberpunk set melding fashion, design, and technology, which had us all looking at the ceiling in awe.

MODA’s Style Your Way Bazaar
MODA’s first-ever “Style Your Way” Bazaar at APW Bangsar turned shopping into full-on fashion experience. Held over the weekend, the event featured 35 top designers. including Celest Thoi, Fiziwoo, and Tom Abang Saufi, making high fashion feel fun, accessible, and personal. The artsy-industrial vibes of The Ink & Bookmark only added to the stylish atmosphere.
Beyond the steals and splurges, MODA’s new direction under Cyrus Chin was clear: real connection between designers and shoppers. The exclusive token system added a fun twist – shoppers who spent RM100 earned tokens to redeem beauty goodies. Smart, stylish, and rewarding? It was a fashion win all around. Watch what went down:

“Kemeriahan Bersama” Raya @ Pavilion Bukit Jalil
Pavilion Bukit Jalil invites visitors to experience Kemeriahan Bersama, a celebration of togetherness that beautifully blends nostalgia with modern storytelling. Adding an exciting modern twist, Pavilion Bukit Jalil has collaborated with Malaysia’s most favourite superhero, BoBoiBoy, bringing an extra dose of fun to the festivities.
During the launch event, the mall embraced the true spirit of Kemeriahan Bersama by sharing joy and kindness with 100 children from Pertubuhan Kebajikan Dan Penjagaan Nur Hidayah. The children received festive goodie bags and Duit Raya, reflecting the mall’s commitment to giving back to the community and fostering a spirit of inclusivity and generosity.

vivo V50 Launch
The venue was Menara Ken in TTDI, and the event was the launch of vivo’s latest phone. We were not disappointed by what was unveiled, as the vivo V50 is a dazzler, bringing photography and productivity to the most creative and expressive users. Capturing and sharing memories has been made “So Pro” with its state-of-the-art ZEISS Professional Portrait features.
Accompanying the 50MP imaging suite is a powerful device powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor, equipped with 12GB of RAM and a 6000 mAh battery that supports 90W fast charging. The phone would also not be out of place in the elements, as it features I68 and IP69 dust and water resistance, so go places and do things with it!

Hong Kong Tourism Board Iftar
The Hong Kong Tourism Board has big plans for 2025. During the recent Ramadan gathering at Crowne Plaza Kuala Lumpur City Centre, members of the media were given an overview of last year’s tourist stats and the expansion of Muslim-friendly hotels and Halal-certified eateries in Hong Kong.
During the event, Datuk Ramli M.S. and Datuk Jalaluddin Hassan were invited to talk about their experience while filming their Astro series in Hong Kong. Ms Liew Chian Jia, Regional Director of Southeast Asia, HKTB, stated, “We are incredibly happy and encouraged by the positive progress we have achieved over the past year. Today, more attractions, restaurants and hotels are being accredited, which reflects Hong Kong’s enthusiasm in ensuring the best experience for Muslim travellers. We are dedicated to positioning Hong Kong as a top Muslim-friendly destination, especially for Indonesia and Malaysia, and we look forward to welcoming more Muslim guests to experience the best of Hong Kong in 2025 and beyond.”

Red Box Unveils Top 50 Hits At The Exchange TRX
Red Box is celebrating its 25th anniversary, and in conjunction with the birthday celebration, the famous Karaoke company recently unveiled its Top 50 Hits at The Exchange TRX outlet. In addition, Red Box will roll out its Red Pay specials – a programme exclusively designed for local talents and performers to showcase and nurture their skills, as well as a tie-up with artistes and recording labels to introduce their latest songs, albums and offerings. MyTOWN Celebrates 8th Anniversary With ‘Weaves of Gratitude’
MyTOWN’s “Weaves of Gratitude” has transformed the mall into a nostalgic kampung wonderland. A recreated traditional house features intricate patchwork that triggers childhood memories. Four new Tadaland characters – Hoola, Nico, Pierre, and Roro – are creating quite the buzz with their 5:30pm meet-and-greets, with kids lining up eagerly while parents sneak in selfies.
The collaboration with Komuniti Tukang Jahit stands out, with single mothers and B40 women crafting beautiful patchwork items for the mall’s redemption programme. As MyTOWN celebrates its 8th anniversary with 98% occupancy, new tenants like Uncle Roger are drawing crowds. With DIY workshops and a blend of tradition, community support, and retail therapy, MyTOWN has created a Raya celebration that’s both meaningful and entertaining.

Marsha Milan Brightens Up Eco-shop’s Raya Campaign Launch
Eco-shop has launched its nationwide “Jom Serikan Raya Bersama Eco-shop” campaign, running from now until 12th April 2025. To launch the exciting campaign, Eco-shop held an exclusive iftar session, made even merrier with the appearance of Eco-shop’s Raya campaign ambassador, Marsha Milan.
Besides sharing her experience as ambassador, the Anugerah Juara Lagu 2025 winner also did an impromptu performance of her song, “Hening Rindu”. As part of its festive offerings, Eco-shop has introduced a Hamper Gifting service across all its outlets nationwide.
