It’s official – My Chemical Romance (MCR) is coming back to Malaysia! The American rock band recently announced dates for the Asian leg of their “Long Live The Black Parade” tour, which includes a show in Kuala Lumpur in 2026!

On Monday morning (7th July 2025), MCR dropped the Asian tour dates announcement through their social media pages. The tour begins in April 2026 and includes stops in Seoul, Bangkok, Bulacan, Singapore, Jakarta and Kuala Lumpur. The band will perform in KL on 30th April 2026 (Thursday) at the National Stadium Bukit Jalil. Ticket prices range from RM299 to RM1,099.

This concert marks the band’s return to Malaysia after almost two decades. The last time MCR visited Malaysia was in 2007 when the band performed at Stadium Merdeka for their “The Black Parade Tour”. My Chemical Romance would then go on a brief hiatus before reuniting in 2019. The band has since returned to touring and will kick off the “Long Live The Black Parade” tour in North America later this week.

This news also comes after hints that the band might return to KL following suggestive advertisements on billboards around the KL area. Warner Music Malaysia also shared several videos featuring MCR on their social media pages, which fuelled speculation of a show in Malaysia. If you’re one of those fans who are excited to see the band back in Malaysia, then keep in mind these details of the show:
